About the Role

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Laboratory Services and the Senior Director of Operations and the direct supervision of a Medical Technologist Coordinator, the Medical Technologist II provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory technology.
• Completion of an approved training program for Medical Technologist with MT (ASCP or AMT) certification or equivalent.
• Must be CLIA qualified for high complexity testing.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
• Previous blood bank experience required.
• Certification per unit-specific competency (e.g., BLS, COAP, etc.).
