About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at P2P, focusing on the development and enhancement of our Stellar Core components. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building robust, scalable, and high-performance blockchain infrastructure that supports our mission of creating accessible financial systems. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, strong programming skills in modern C++ or Rust, and a passion for tackling complex performance challenges. As part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize core components that ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our blockchain network. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability and robustness of our platform, enabling us to serve a growing global user base effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development, preferably within blockchain or distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17) or Rust, with a solid understanding of concurrent programming and system-level development.
- Experience with blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and peer-to-peer networking.
- Proven ability to optimize code for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Stellar blockchain protocol, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and optimize existing functionalities.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities within the blockchain infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and technical standards for blockchain development.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and incorporate innovative solutions into the platform.
