Blender Operator- Nightshift

Essential Functions

• Follows shift start-up and shut-down procedures
• Operates blender scales
• Prepares blender for loading and unloading
• Packages blended product
• Delivers appropriate samples from post-blend material to lab in a timely manner
• Completes shift paperwork neatly and accurately
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures relating to cleaning of blenders, including fall protection inspection, air monitoring, and completion of confined space permit
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 80 lbs. at waist level, up to 80 lbs. at floor level, and up to 40 lbs. at elevated level on a rare basis when moving products
• Show average coordination with both hands on a continuous basis while performing job tasks
• Perform elevated work on an occasional basis when handling products
• S stoop, kneel, or squat on an occasional basis when handling products
• Reach forward and to the side on an occasional basis when handling products
• Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis during the course of each shift
• Climb steps on an occasional basis
• Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per shift
• Able to be on feet for up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Climb steps/ladders on an occasional basis
