What You'll Do
- Oversee the Sanitization Program including but not limited to Knowledge of chemical and steam sanitization processes
- Deliverance of steam through the system to mixers and storage tanks
- Maintenance and preparation of sanitization totes
- Cordination of sanitization between Packaging and Blending Operators
- Ensure the safe handling of all chemicals in compliance with OSHA standards
- Ensure the proper and safe cleanup or reporting of spills
- Ensure the proper operation of the hot and cold R.O. water system to include monitoring of regeneration times start to finish as needed
- Operational knowledge of all quality testing to include pH testing, hardness testing of soft water unit and soft water storage tanks
- Perform analytical testing on finished product when needed
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the fluid flow from raw material storage tanks or day tanks to mixers and premixers and fluid flow from mixers to packaging storage tanks
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the waste water system to include the drains and pits associated with this system
- Check and record permeate water COD samples as needed
- Proper operation of all mixers and equipment
- Recording and maintenance of shift forms and logbooks
- Use proper methods for reporting broken or leaking equipment to management and supervision
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all formulations
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the non-bulk storage area
- Maintain the stock level and record lot numbers of non-bulk and bulk raw materials in the process
- Perform troubleshooting for equipment and batches
What Makes You a Good Fit
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the computer batching program
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are used in the manufacture of safe, hygienic product
- Transfer of finished product from mixers to storage and storage to storage
- Read and understand the Blenders Training Manual
- Perform inventory of raw chemicals as needed
- Clean up work area and help others clean their areas if needed
- Communicate with all departments

Pay
The hourly pay range for this role is $29.00 and $33.00. This range reflects the good-faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting. This role is classified as non-exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location.
