About the Role
The Blender Operator is responsible for unloading, loading, and blending fertilizer. Other responsibilities include maintaining conveyor systems, unloading railcars and trucks, ensuring cleanliness in storage and loadout areas, and driving company vehicles when necessary. Excellent customer service is also expected.

- Maintains conveyor systems

- Maintains run-off
- May drive a company vehicle
- Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Follows all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a forklift preferred
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English; Spanish skills valued
- Valid U.S. driver's license required to drive a company vehicle

- Ability to communicate effectively
- Physical demands: Regularly works around moving equipment/mechanical parts, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations, and a risk of electrical shock
- Manual dexterity: Uses hands for many different tasks, talks, hears, walks, sits, stands (8 hours a day or more), lifts, carries, pushes or pulls (up to and including 50lbs or more), reaches overhead (up to and including 25lbs), climbs, grips, grasps, twists using hands and wrists, bends, stoops for long periods of time, works below knee levels for short periods of time, and works above shoulder level for short periods

Work Environment and Physical Aspects
The work environment for this position is a warehouse/outdoor environment where the noise level is usually moderate to loud and occasionally very loud. You will work outdoors in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working in the warehouse, you will regularly work around moving equipment/mechanical parts and could be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations, and a risk of electrical shock.
