Bldg/Grounds Maint II

What You'll Do

• Regular maintenance of facilities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, wash rack, and compressor systems at Warren Equipment locations.
• Maintenance of grounds, exterior lighting, parking lots, trash detail, wash rack repair, and sign repair.
• Performing small construction projects such as painting, drywall patching, floor tile replacement, ceiling tile replacement, and lighting replacement.
• Housekeeping duties in electrical rooms, mechanical rooms, and compressor rooms.
• Sets up and transports furniture to locations for office personnel needs.
• Aids Facilities leadership with special projects and duties, as assigned.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or GED; one year related experience and/or training.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Desire to perform tasks and assignments safely, efficiently, and at a high quality.
• Ability to follow simple instructions in various forms (written, verbal, diagram).
• Clear and professional communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
• Ability to pass Worksteps pre-employment testing.

Important Information

• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, and outside weather conditions.
• Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
• Frequent noise levels in the work environment.
• Up to 70% travel required.
• This position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
