About the role
The Executive Director will lead the operations and strategic direction of Blakehurst, a Life Plan community offering memory care, assisted living, independent living, and skilled nursing services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of community operations including memory care, assisted living, independent living, and skilled nursing services.
- Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the community.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage the budget and financial planning for the community.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
- Lead the recruitment and training of new staff members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior living or related field.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a large team.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
