Bistro Server / Bartender / Food Prep

About the role

The beautiful voco St. Augustine is looking for a friendly, dependable team member to serve guests in our boutique-style hotel Bistro. This part-time position combines food service, bartending, and light food preparation. If you enjoy working with people, take initiative, and keep things running smoothly, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, answer menu questions, and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve beer, wine, and specialty drinks according to hotel recipes and service standards.
• Prepare and plate simple menu items with attention to quality, portions, and presentation.
• Process payments and handle cash accurately.
• Keep the Bistro, bar, dining area, and food preparation spaces clean, organized, and stocked.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service procedures.

Qualifications

• A welcoming personality and attentive guest service.
• Reliable attendance and the initiative to handle tasks without constant direction.
• The ability to manage several orders and stay organized during busy periods.
• Previous serving, bartending, café, or food preparation experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and perform routine bar and food preparation duties.
• You'll help create a relaxed, welcoming place where guests can enjoy a meal or a drink during their stay.

Schedule

• Availability for part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Shifts will include evenings hours.
