Bistro Attendant/Bartender

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Courtyard Salinas hotel, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage services.
• Manage staff performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty programs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the hotel and its offerings.
• Monitor and manage the hotel's budget, including expenses related to labor, supplies, and maintenance.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, including housekeeping, food & beverage, and front desk procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Hotel Management certification preferred.

Skills

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software.
• Experience with revenue management systems.
