Birthday Party Lead Coach

About the role

At 92NY, birthdays are not just parties, they are mini adventures. We are seeking enthusiastic, engaging individuals to lead fun-filled birthday celebrations for kids aged 2-12. Ideal candidates have experience working with children, a passion for gymnastics, parkour, sports, and similar activities, and a friendly, energetic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead birthday activities in gymnastics, parkour, sports, and more, with training provided.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset, ensuring proper headcounts and clear boundaries.
• Bring a lively, welcoming atmosphere and engage kids with positive energy.
• Communicate effectively with the team before, during, and after events to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with basic setup and teardown to prepare for the next event.

Requirements

• Experience working with children aged 2-12, strongly preferred.
• CPR certification required within a designated onboarding period; training provided.

• Great at keeping things fun and structured, using a clear, calm voice when necessary.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and quick on your feet.

Pay

Per diem compensation range: $25-$28/hour. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

Schedule

Part-time weekend role - Saturdays and Sundays. Monthly rotating schedule based on party bookings with year-round opportunities.
