Responsibilities
- Apply basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems
- Familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits
- Select tools, testing instruments, and plan work sequences
- Work under immediate supervision
- Achieve technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician
Requirements
- Graduated from a DoD or civilian biomedical technical school (e.g. DoD BMET Basic Course)
- Knowledge of schematics and ability to work independently on repairs, safety testing, and provide preventative maintenance
- Maintain records and write reports
- Coordinate outside repairs if needed
- Advanced knowledge of military policies, practices, procedures
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience
