Biomedical Technician II

Responsibilities

• Apply basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems
• Familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits
• Select tools, testing instruments, and plan work sequences
• Work under immediate supervision
• Achieve technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician

Requirements

• Graduated from a DoD or civilian biomedical technical school (e.g. DoD BMET Basic Course)
• Knowledge of schematics and ability to work independently on repairs, safety testing, and provide preventative maintenance
• Maintain records and write reports
• Coordinate outside repairs if needed
• Advanced knowledge of military policies, practices, procedures
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience
