Responsibilities

• Own uptime: diagnose, repair, and calibrate complex medical systems that clinicians rely on daily.
• Lead in the field: guide technicians, run huddles, and keep service delivery sharp and on track.
• Raise the bar: train others, solve the problems no one else can, and turn lessons into better systems.
• Be the bridge: translate technical reality into clear updates for nurses, doctors, and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years working with medical equipment in clinical engineering or healthcare technology management (required).
• CE experience and ability to lead and influence others (required).
• 2-year technical/electronics degree or equivalent experience (required; certification programs may substitute).
• Certifications like A+, CBET, CRES, or CLES (preferred).
• Strong computer, networking, and troubleshooting skills; valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• You step in, not back, when equipment fails or the path isn’t clear.
• You enjoy teaching others as much as solving the issue yourself.
• You see patterns in problems—and fix the root, not just the symptom.
• You’re as comfortable with people as you are with circuits and code.
