Job Description

Congratulations on joining Brainlab! Your role involves conducting on-site clinical evaluations for new and existing customers to demonstrate the use of our Image Guided Surgery (IGS) products and services. You'll be providing on-site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and operating room personnel during surgeries to enhance their efficiency and usage. Additionally, you'll lead installations, educate/train staff, utilize engineering expertise for product improvements, act as a primary customer liaison, and promote our products and services.

To succeed, you should have a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider, and 1-2 years of customer service experience. Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology is preferred, along with proficiency in PC software applications such as Microsoft Office. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to make independent decisions are key qualities.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years minimum of experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider
  • 1-2 years minimum customer service experience
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology
  • Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions
