Biomed Service Specialist- Field Technician

DaVita has an open position for a Biomedical Services Specialist who ensures that our life-giving dialysis treatments run smoothly in our clinics.

Responsibilities

• Keep our life-giving dialysis treatments "up and running" every day in our clinics.
• Perform tasks such as repairing engines or other types of machines.
• Communicate openly, honestly, and frequently with colleagues.
• Support the team in meeting the needs of clinics and patients, including late-night and weekend shifts.
• Reside close to the clinics you support for emergency response coverage.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A skilled electro-mechanical equipment technician.
• Great communications skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications and internet navigation.
• A valid driver's license.
• Available for on-call rotations.
• Close proximity to the clinics you support.

Qualifications

• Trade school or college biomed or electronics technology program.
• Experience performing similar work.
• Demonstrated aptitude for electro-mechanical equipment.

Skills

• Electro-mechanical equipment repair.
• Effective communication.
• Computer literacy.
• Driving ability.

Pay

The wage range for the role is $32.00 - $38.50/hour. Location-specific minimum wage details can be found here: DaVita.jobs/WageRates. Compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.

Schedule

Biomed technicians should be available for on-call rotations and support clinics and patients, including late nights, weekends, and early mornings.
