About the role
We're seeking biology experts with advanced degrees to help build and train cutting-edge AI models. Your scientific depth will ensure that the AI systems influencing research, medicine, and technology are grounded in rigorous, accurate science.
Responsibilities
- Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex, rigorous problem sets
- Evaluate AI-generated biological content for scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve AI model reasoning in the life sciences
- Ensure scientific rigor, precision, and quality across all deliverables
Requirements
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field — Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or similar
- Strong expertise in one or more of: genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or molecular biology
- Comfortable working with Python or R for research, data analysis, or scripting
- Exceptional written communicator — able to explain complex concepts with clarity and precision
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable when working independently
- Fluent in English
Qualifications
- Nice to have: Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in computational biology or systems biology
- Experience writing for scientific publications, grant proposals, or technical documentation
- Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation as an end user
