About the role

We're seeking biology experts to help build and train cutting-edge AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working scientists and academics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
  • Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex, rigorous problem statements
  • Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth, and methodological soundness
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning
  • Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and precision across all deliverables
  • Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, etc.)
  • Strong expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
  • Comfortable working with Python or R for research or data analysis
  • Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex science clearly and precisely
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to scientific problems
  • Fluent in English

Qualifications

  • Nice to have: prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation systems
  • Background in computational biology, systems biology, or related quantitative disciplines
  • Experience writing or reviewing scientific literature, grant proposals, or technical documentation
  • Familiarity with AI tools or large language model workflows
