Biology Adjunct Instructor "Pool"

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level General Biology and/or Anatomy & Physiology.
• Develop courses, course-related materials, and instructional activities that promote student learning.

Requirements

• For lecture instruction: a doctorate or master’s degree in biological sciences, or a master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
• For lab instruction: a Bachelor of Science degree in biology or a related field.
• Knowledge base to teach college-level General Biology and/or Anatomy & Physiology.
• Skill and capability to develop courses, course-related materials, and instructional activities that promote student learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful college teaching experience.
• Knowledge of community/technical colleges.
