About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the Reagents Group within the Laboratory of Experimental Medicine (LEM). This role is part of a multi-disciplinary team collaborating on the generation of high-quality recombinant protein and DNA reagents, critical for global Lilly drug discovery efforts in both pre-clinical and clinical programs.
Responsibilities
- Carry out projects generating DNA and protein reagents with limited supervision.
- Work with other members of the Reagents Group to accomplish reagent generation projects in a team-oriented environment.
- Serve as a technical expert in specific areas while maintaining knowledge of other functional areas in the group.
- Provide technological innovation and process improvement.
- Interact and work closely with other scientists to solve issues regarding DNA and protein reagent generation.
Requirements
- BS with relevant pharmaceutical or academic research experience in molecular biology, protein expression, and protein purification.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role.

Pay
The anticipated wage for this position is $65,250 - $169,400.
