Biological Scientist

AnalystFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes Job Summary, Qualifications, Major Duties, Position Start Date, Position Close Date, Salary Offered. Also maybe "Benefits"? Not provided. So we should include sections for About the role (maybe from Job Summary), Qualifications, Responsibilities (Major Duties), Pay (Salary Offered), Schedule? Not given. Also maybe "Position Start Date" and "Close Date" could be in a short paragraph under About the role or separate? The instruction: do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. So we can include start/close dates in a paragraph under About the role or maybe a separate "Details" but not as heading unless content. Probably better to include them in a paragraph after the summary. We must not repeat job title as heading. Use

for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to include only sections with real content. We have: - About the role: Job Summary paragraph. - Qualifications: the qualifications section. - Responsibilities: Major Duties. - Pay: Salary Offered. - Possibly Schedule: Not given, so omit. - Benefits: Not given, omit. - Skills: Not explicitly listed; maybe part of qualifications but we can omit. Thus output:

Responsibilities

  • ... each duty ...

Pay

Salary Offered: 75284 - 97875 USD Per Year

We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent. Ensure we keep details like "Position Start Date: 09/25/2026 Position Close Date: 10/01/2026". Where to put? Could be in About the role paragraph after summary. Or separate short paragraph. Let's include them in About the role paragraph after the summary. Thus About the role paragraph: "The incumbent serves as a Biological Scientist in the Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB), Policy, Evaluation, and Licensing (PEL). The incumbent has responsibility for testing and evaluating proposed and licensed biologics for agents assigned by the Section Chief that are intended for prevention, treatment, or diagnosis of animal disease. Position Start Date: 09/25/2026 Position Close Date: 10/01/2026" Make sure not to duplicate lines. Qualifications: need to preserve all text. It's long; we can keep as a paragraph (maybe multiple sentences). We'll keep as

with line breaks? HTML will ignore line breaks; but we can keep as is. Responsibilities: list each duty as

  • . The duties are separated by periods. We'll split. Duties list: - Testing and evaluating the potency, safety, purity, and efficacy of products. - Evaluating research, developmental, and field data produced by firms while seeking licensure of veterinary biologic products. - Proposing and developing standardized assay methods and initiating collaborative studies to implement those standardized assays for the biologics community. - Preparing and evaluating references and reagents to support the Section and to supply as references and reagents to the biologics and scientific communities. - Designs, develops, and evaluates new procedures and techniques to enhance the evaluation of current products or to test emerging conventional and biotechnology based veterinary biologics. - Presents the results of work in written, poster, and oral forms in a variety of scientific and regulatory contexts, including scientific journals, and scientific and public meetings. Note some start with verb forms; keep as is. Pay: paragraph. We must not include any boilerplate like "You can make a difference!" etc. That's promotional but maybe considered substantive? It's part of the posting but not a section heading; we could include it in About the role? It's after salary. It's generic marketing; but instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The "You can make a difference!" is not boilerplate but maybe considered fluff; but it's part of the posting. However we might keep it if it's substantive? It's not specific to role; it's generic. Might be considered boilerplate? Not sure. Safer to omit? The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. This is not those. It's a motivational statement. Could keep but it's not under a heading. Could add to About the role paragraph? Might be okay. But we already have About the role paragraph with summary and dates; adding that sentence may be okay. But we also have "To learn more about what it's like to work at the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, what the agency does, and the types of careers, please visit the APHIS careers site." That's application instruction? It's a link to learn more; maybe considered application instruction? It's not directly apply but informational. Might be considered boilerplate? Probably safe to omit. Also "APHIS is an emergency response agency..." that's also info about agency; maybe keep? It's not specific to role but could be considered relevant. However instruction: remove duplicated lines, not necessarily all generic info. But we should preserve ALL substantive information; generic statements about agency may be considered substantive? Hard to know. Safer to keep them? But they are not under a heading; we could incorporate them into About the role paragraph as extra sentences. But we must not invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep all details that are not boilerplate. The lines about APHIS careers site, emergency response, etc., are details about the agency; they are substantive. However they might be considered boilerplate? The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The APHIS careers site is not those; it's a reference. The emergency response statement is also not those. So we should keep them. Thus About the role paragraph could include: summary, start/close dates, and then the APHIS marketing sentence, emergency response sentence, and maybe the invitation to learn more? The "To learn more..." is maybe application instruction? It's directing to APHIS careers site; not exactly apply. Might be okay. But we need to avoid duplication; there is also "Please see the full announcement on USAJobs by clicking on the APPLY button!" That's application instruction; remove. Thus we keep: "You can make a difference! The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Marketing and Regulatory Programs (MRP) needs bright, energetic and committed professionals to facilitate the domestic and international marketing of U.S. agricultural products and to protect the health and care of animals and plants in the United States. We operate in domestic and global markets. Be part of an organization that protects the health and agriculture of the American people. Join our team! To learn more about what it's like to work at the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, what the agency does, and the types of careers, please visit the APHIS careers site. APHIS is an emergency response agency. This means that all Agency employees may be asked or assigned to participate in rotating temporary duty assignments to support emergency programs at some time during their careers with APHIS." We can keep all that as part of About the role. Thus final HTML:
