Biol 231, 232N Labs Anatomy & Physiology Labs (Adjunct Faculty)
About the role
The Biology Department of the School of Sciences and Health Professions at Simmons University is seeking applicants for adjunct instructor positions in the Biology Department to teach BIOL 231 Labs and/or BIOL 232 Labs in person.
Courses offered:
- BIOLOGY 231L - Anatomy and Physiology I Labs
- BIOLOGY 232L - Anatomy and Physiology II Labs
Responsibilities
The adjunct instructor will be responsible for lecturing and leading in person lab work. Both day and evening labs are available.
- Lectures and lab sessions will run from September 2, 2026 to December 19, 2026.
- Labs start at the following times:
- BIOLOGY 231L-02: Wednesdays, 11:00 AM - 1:50 PM
- BIOLOGY 231L-03: Thursdays, 2:00 PM - 4:50 PM
- BIOLOGY 232L-05: Thursdays, 11:00 AM - 1:50 PM
Requirements
A Master's or Ph.D. degree is required, along with experience teaching Biology courses.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology
Qualifications
Applicants should have a strong background in Biology and relevant teaching experience.
Skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively teach complex scientific concepts are essential.
