Our Bindery Operator is primarily responsible for operating various machines and equipment to finish products that have been printed so they can be delivered. Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine setup specifications and instructions.
• Set-up automatic cutting programs manually into cutter machine.
• Examine folded, stitched, collated, bound, and unbound product samples for defects such as imperfect folding, bindings, toner streaks, torn or loose pages.
• Set up and operate machines that perform operations such as cutting, folding, scoring/creasing, padding, drilling, hand punch for coil binding, laminating, perfect binding, saddle stitching, booklet making, etc.
• Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments
