Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a BIM strategy throughout the project life cycle
- Provide leadership and guidance for BIM implementation
- Work with clients and strategic partners to understand current processes, advise, and assist in implementing BIM processes
- Represent Fractile by participating in BIM Coordination Meetings with clients
- Establish BIM goals and objectives and develop BIM workflows, best practices, QA/QC, and value proposition
- Manage and implement the BIM project setup process
- Facilitate BIM meetings and design or MEP coordination sessions
- Interact regularly with jobsites and maintain an understanding of project BIM implementations
- Train personnel on BIM capabilities
- Facilitate ongoing collaboration among BIM personnel, including the sharing of best practices and lessons learned
- Monitor and assign internal & external resources appropriately to streamline project delivery efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Actively participate in and lead ongoing strategic initiatives related to BIM
Desired Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture/civil engineering/electrical engineering
- Three (3) plus years of experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Electrical Virtual Design and Construction/Building Information Modeling, Construction, and Electrical Contracting for mission-critical facilities (minimum two years on-site experience required)
- Practical knowledge and understanding of electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations. Ability to conduct lighting illumination calculations. Understanding of power distribution, as represented by single-line diagrams, plans, and schedules.
- Demonstrated leadership with project teams on a local/regional level
- Knowledge and interest in current BIM and VDC software used at Fractile, including but not limited to Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, Fuzor, Assemble, SketchUp, Bluebeam, BIM Track, 3DS Max, and Tekla
- Excellent knowledge of BIM processes used for MEP coordination in project delivery
- Exceptional presentation and training skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work well as part of a team and independently
- Passion and experience to work with cross-cultural/global teams
- Self-starter with the drive to pursue continued education in VDC
- Experience in Scan (point cloud) to BIM modeling
- Able to manage priorities with minimal guidance
- Active membership in an appropriate professional organization

Pay
$65,000 - $170,000 base salary range
