Job Description
The ideal candidate will bring a builder’s mentality, strong collaboration skills, and experience working with a general contractor environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage BIM and VDC processes from preconstruction through project completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and preconstruction teams to improve project efficiency through technology.
- Ensure models are properly utilized for field coordination, prefabrication, and project planning.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on BIM tools and digital construction processes.
- Support project teams with 4D scheduling, constructability reviews, and model-based coordination.
- Experience leading model coordination and clash detection processes.
- Develop and implement BIM/VDC standards, protocols, and workflows across the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM coordination tools.
- Strong understanding of construction workflows, sequencing, and field coordination.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in leading and managing BIM and VDC processes.
- Experience in providing training and guidance to project teams on BIM tools and digital construction processes.
- Experience in supporting project teams with 4D scheduling, constructability reviews, and model-based coordination.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in BIM/VDC technology.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
