Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Overseeing the integration and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) throughout all phases of design and construction projects.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and integration of BIM processes.
- Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control measures to ensure the integrity of BIM models and data throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conflict Resolution: Identifying and resolving potential conflicts through clash detection and coordination meetings.
- Documentation and Reporting: Preparing documentation related to BIM workflows, progress reports, and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with advancements in BIM technology and methodologies to enhance project outcomes and efficiencies.
Requirements
- BIM Software Proficiency: Extensive experience with BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ArchiCAD, or similar tools.
- Industry Experience: Several years of relevant experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, with a focus on BIM processes.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of the technical aspects of BIM, including modeling, data management, and integration with other software.
- Project Management Skills: Familiarity with project management principles and practices, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the design and construction processes.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in reviewing and managing BIM models and documentation.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering a cooperative work environment.
