BIM/CAD Specialist - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complete and accurate BIM models based on sketches, specifications, and contract documents provided by project coordinators
• Create detailed installation drawings and bill of materials from the BIM models using approved drafting standards
• Review, manage, and manipulate electronic design files
• Update models and drawings to reflect as-built conditions
• Cook up with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines to integrate project features into unified BIM models
• Interface with project team members to understand and implement project requirements
• Sustain ongoing project coordination and constructability efforts through effective modeling practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with BIM platforms including Revit and Navisworks
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or Civil 3D
• Understanding of pipe systems, mechanical layouts, and industrial construction processes
• Strong experience with 3D modeling workflows in a construction or industrial environment
