Bills of Material Coordinator
About the Role
As the Bills of Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for all item master data and bill of material (BOM) updates, including entering into the ERP system. You will manage proper record-keeping controls, communications, cost modeling, and item master data management. Based in Greensboro, NC, this position reports functionally to the Manager of Supply Chain Analytics and Operational Master Data Management as part of the supply chain group.
Responsibilities
- Accurately create and maintain all item master (SKU) and bills of material data in the ERP system, including both finished goods and raw materials.
- Collaborate to investigate inventory and cost variances, updating item master or bills of material as needed.
- Coordinate and expedite bill of material and SKU approval processes with accuracy and ensure complete agreement between Traverse and Product Vision.
- Work with Manufacturing, R&D, and Product Management to ensure the bill of material has the correct structure, components, quantities, and costs.
- Create data models for analysis and data verification.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Bill of Materials or an equivalent field.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with master data management.
