Bill of Materials Coordinator

About the role

This position involves applying broad theoretical knowledge to manage Regional Specification Control Operations, including overseeing North American and global engineering drawings and manufacturing design revisions. The role supports manufacturing plants by implementing engineering changes and ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency during new model launches and mass production.

Responsibilities

• Design Change Delivery (40%): Manage engineering records, review drawings, validate part hierarchies, coordinate approvals, and ensure timely implementation of revisions.
• Manufacturing Instruction Delivery (40%): Configure BOM data, verify part structures, distribute technical information, and manage workflow approvals to support production.
• Export BOM Management (10%): Support BOM activities for parts supplied internationally, coordinate with regions, and identify process improvements.
• Communication & Coordination (5%): Serve as a resource for plants, collaborate with teams, and support new model development.
• Business Planning & Continuous Improvement (5%): Lead or participate in process improvements, analyze operations, and communicate project progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 0-4 years in Part Drawing Control, Engineering Change Management, or related fields; experience in supply chain or manufacturing preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of BOM processes, engineering documentation, CAD systems, and data management.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities across departments and global teams.
