Bill of Materials Coordinator

About the role

The position involves applying broad theoretical knowledge in Regional Specification Control Operations, managing North American and global engineering drawings, and overseeing manufacturing design revisions. Responsibilities include developing and verifying technical data within the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM), supporting manufacturing plants with engineering changes, and contributing to new model launches and mass production by ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the change management process.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering records and project information related to design changes and BOM updates.
• Review and validate engineering drawings, part hierarchies, and application details.
• Coordinate design change approvals and ensure timely implementation.
• Configure and maintain manufacturing BOM data, verify part structures, and interpret supply agreements.
• Support communication and collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and global teams.
• Participate in process improvements, develop workflows, and support business initiatives.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0-4 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of BOM management, engineering change procedures, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in BOM validation, CAD systems (e.g., CATIA), and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
