Billing Specialist

Billing Accountant

Courser is seeking a Billing Accountant to join our organization as we scale for current and future growth. As a portfolio company of Shore Capital Partners, Courser provides IT services to clients throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Generating and distributing accurate, timely invoices to clients.
• Managing accounts receivable, including monitoring customer accounts, and resolving any billing-related issues.
• Following up on overdue payments and managing collection efforts.
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing billing inquiries and resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentation.
• Working with various departments to ensure billing accuracy.
• Continuous review of profit margins and providing updates to the Controller and CAO.
• Making monthly revenue flux analysis.
• Assisting with integration tasks to assist with acquisition activities.
• Driving process improvements.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

• Proven work experience of 2-5 years as a Billing Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, billing principles, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing billing records and documentation.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• ConnectWise experience preferred.
