Billing Specialist 1

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of billing professionals to prepare system-generated invoices to provide accurate and timely billing using HDR accounting software.
• Implement contract requirements while maintaining company controls.
• Set up contract and billing terms within HDR accounting software.
• Generate a high volume of customer invoices as directed by Billing Managers.
• Work with user departments to assure customer requirements are met.
• Ensure the accurate and timely billing of clients while complying with company policies.
• Track and document contract billing requirements for customers.
• Research and correct billing issues.
• Test new software functionality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be team-oriented and able to work with a variety of people in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Must be self-motivated, flexible, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• Requires analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a high-volume billing environment and/or experience within the A/E/C industry.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Oracle E-Business Suite experience.
• Local candidates preferred.
