Billing Manager

This position works closely with attorneys, administrative staff, and firm management to ensure accurate, timely billing and follow-up on outstanding accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate monthly billing, including preparation, review, corrections, and distribution of client invoices.Work with attorneys and staff to resolve billing questions and maintain accurate client and matter records.Monitor accounts receivable, assist with collections, and follow up on outstanding balances.Process and record client payments and prepare daily bank deposits.Prepare billing and accounts receivable reports for firm management.Assist with month-end reconciliations and support improvements to billing procedures and systems.QualificationsExperience in billing, accounting, or a related administrative role; law firm experience desirable.Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office software; experience with legal billing software desirable.Ability to handle confidential financial information and manage competing deadlines.BenefitsThe firm offers a benefits package that includes:Health insurance401(k) retirement planLife insurancePaid vacationZiemer, Stayman, Weitzel & Shoulders, LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
