Billing Clerk

About the role

The Billing Clerk is responsible for billing assigned customer accounts accurately and on time. You will collaborate with sales, credit, and customers to ensure billing meets customer requirements while maintaining internal control standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare billing information and support the accuracy and efficiency of the billing process
• Bill customers using various websites and reports with Microsoft Excel
• Review payments for accuracy and reconcile customer payments with cash applications
• Take appropriate action on delinquent accounts and assist customers with billing issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role (Accounts Payable, Cash Applications, or Administrative functions)
• High School diploma or GED (required)

Skills

• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong customer service skills
