Billing Clerk

About the role

This position primarily involves creating invoices to support warehouse shipping, with a 5% possibility of material handling tasks. The role focuses on interacting with customers and shippers to ensure timely and accurate shipment of items.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry for international shipping invoices.
• Work with carriers and shippers to resolve and route orders held up for customers.
• Coordinate shipping for international shipments, including submission to AES filing contractors.
• Perform data entry of log records for auditing purposes.
• Communicate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to schedule shipments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to obtain all necessary documentation for customs clearance.
• Maintain obsessive attention to detail in all tasks.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Safely lift a minimum of 49 lbs. unassisted, and perform tasks involving bending, walking, standing, and sitting in warehousing and manufacturing environments.
• Handle international shipments, including occasional material handling duties.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate changes in production and work schedules, including weekend work and overtime as requested.
• Must already possess hard steel-toe shoes for the production environment.
