Billing and Collections Specialist

About the role

We will start you off with paid training on State and Federal laws pertaining to collections and how to use our state-of-the-art software application, plus innovative ideas and techniques on investigation, negotiation, and dispute resolution. We’ll even pay for you to take the American Collectors Association Exam!

Responsibilities

• Locate and contact former tenants
• Guide former tenants on determining the best course of action pertaining to their debt
• Navigate challenging situations with resilience and persistence
• Maintain composure under pressure
• Work towards debt resolution with determination
• Reach mutually beneficial payment arrangements
• Resolve payment issues effectively
• Handle challenging customers, hostile interactions, and difficult situations professionally
• Resolve payment issues effectively
• Manage emotional stress from demanding interactions
• Maintain well-being in a high-pressure environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

Requirements

• Internet services with a minimum internet download speed of 15 Mbps and a minimum upload speed of 3 Mbps

Schedule

This role will transition to working 100% remote once training is completed.

Employees must reside within a 100-mile straight-line radius of the Bothell, WA office during the entirety of their employment.

Our office is located at: 21222 30th Drive SE Ste. C2100 Bothell, WA 98021.

What We Offer

• Base pay of $20 per hour and uncapped commissions
• New employees earn an average of $60,000 - $75,000 their first year then $70,000 - $100,000 in second year (income is performance driven)
