Billing and Collection Specialist

About the role

AGG, an Am Law 200 firm with nearly 200 attorneys, is seeking a billing and collection specialist responsible for handling all aspects of the firm’s client billing cycle. This role ensures that prebill edits through transmittal and/or the mailing of client bills and e-billing requirements are completed effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Supporting the billing and collection supervisor, this position addresses attorney and staff needs while providing superior client service.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the firm’s client billing cycle
• Ensure prebill edits through transmittal and/or mailing of client bills and e-billing requirements are completed effectively, efficiently, and accurately
• Support the billing and collection supervisor
• Address attorney and staff needs while providing superior client service
• Respond to day-to-day AR collections email requests
• Send invoice copies and correspond with attorneys relating to their AR balances and customer requests
• Assist with deposit creation and cash receipts posting
