Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve aged receivables, unapplied credits, and open invoices while leading collections escalations across Partner accounts to recover outstanding tuition and revenue share funds.
  • Review new partner contracts for billing variances and manage the full onboarding/offboarding lifecycle, including invoicing setup, task coordination, and accurate documentation.
  • Manage end-to-end cash application operations, including check processing, audit-ready recordkeeping, and compliance with Guild's internal control standards.
  • Proactively identify and drive opportunities for process optimization, automation, and documentation improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy across billing operations.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-assisted solutions to reduce manual effort and improve team capacity, actively experimenting with tools and contributing ideas for greater operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of tuition, revenue, and employer benefit dollars across Guild's marketplace, maintaining effective approval processes and distributing invoices and partner files through the correct mechanisms.
  • Investigate and resolve partner and internal stakeholder inquiries related to invoicing, payments, and billing discrepancies with accuracy and professionalism, joining external partner calls as a subject matter expert when needed.
  • Contribute to time-sensitive cross-functional projects that require a high level of execution and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other mathematical or technical area(s), or 5+ years of relevant work experience in a detail-oriented environment with high expectations of precision.
  • A self-starter demeanor with proven time-management skills and the ability to work independently, while managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
  • Analytical, detailed, and process-oriented tendencies.
  • Comfort collaborating with others - both internally and externally to execute on billing enablement.
  • A drive to problem solve and to resolve issues and incidents.
  • Experience working with a billing / payment system (potentially in a financial or healthcare environment) that requires near perfect execution; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and/or Gsheet knowledge.
  • A desire to perform and maintain high standards of work & accuracy.
  • Experience with AI tools and AI-assisted solutions that reduce manual effort and improve team effectiveness.

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $90,000 - $100,000 and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.

Pay

This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $90,000 - $100,000 and stock options.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role based at Guild's Denver headquarters. You'll be expected in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, with flexibility on specific days worked out with your manager.
