Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process government contract invoices in accordance with contract terms and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accounts receivable records and monitor outstanding balances.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
- Prepare monthly journal entries with supporting documentation.
- Reconcile billing system data to the general ledger and financial reporting systems.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and contract-related issues.
- Support month-end close activities related to billing and receivables.
- Aid in financial audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and supporting analyses.
- Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices, receivables, and contract billing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting, finance, or government contracting experience.
- Government contract billing experience is required.
- Deltek Costpoint experience is required.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Cost accounting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Compensation
$35.00 – $40.00 / Per Hour / $70,000 - $85,000 / Anually upon conversion
