BILLER/BILLING REP - In-House
THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION located in Meridian, Mississippi.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and timely edit, prepare, and submit electronically and manually processed claims to third-party payers in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Perform collections, billing procedures, and handle Medicare/insurance requirements.
- Work effectively with employees, patients, insurance companies, and other outside parties.
- Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Provide customer-focused service, exceeding expectations of both internal and external customers.
- Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
- Pay attention to detail, prioritize needs, multi-task, and manage workload effectively.
Requirements
- Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance billing experience along with extensive collections experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
- High School Diploma required.
- Thoroughly familiar with computer systems and PC spreadsheet preparation.

Alliance Health Center is a 154-bed acute care psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital located in Meridian, Mississippi. The facility offers treatment programs for adults, adolescents, and seniors, including a unique program track specifically for seniors. The Alliance campus also includes The Crossings, a 60-bed residential treatment facility for adolescents.
