BILLER/BILLING REP
About the Role
The Billing Representative is responsible for reviewing patient accounts and validating claims within the Western Region Consolidated Business Office (WCBO). WCBO delivers comprehensive insurance revenue services to UHS affiliated facilities, including billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance analysis, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Review patient accounts and validate claims.
- Validate codes and charges for accuracy.
- Prepare and submit claims according to payer guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely claim submissions.
Requirements
- Demonstrates knowledge of medical insurance billing.
- 1+ years of medical office experience.
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Excel and data entry experience.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
