Bill of Materials Writer

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain BOMs for Travel Trailer and 5th Wheel RVs
• Update BOMs based on Product Change Notices (PCNs)
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production as part of the product team, providing cost data and estimates to support development decisions
• Spend time on the production floor checking materials, components, and builds
• Research & reconcile differences between cost expectations, BOMs, actual builds
• Help keep product data clean, accurate, and up to date

Who We’re Looking For

• Detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers and data
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform unit of measure conversions
• Excel skills (formulas & formatting are a must; analytic tools are a plus)
• Comfortable working in both an office and a manufacturing environment
• Strong communicator and team player
• Organized, reliable, and willing to learn

Experience Desired

• Mechanical, manufacturing, RV, automotive, or similar environments
• Background in product costing and/or accounting
• College coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with ERP systems (like Microsoft Dynamics AX)
