About the role

We are seeking a 99th percentile writer who can reach our 99th percentile customers. This role involves writing short and long-form essays, blog posts, and social media content for various internal and external audiences. Key responsibilities include:

• Writing essays and blog posts for executives, legal leadership, sales leadership, and engineers and researchers
• Organizing and polishing thoughts for these audiences
• Producing other content such as building storyboards for videos and writing copy for new website landing pages
• Racing around the East Village to find screen printers for events
• Crafting pitches for podcasts and managing timelines for content creation
• Writing crisp engineering blog posts and having strong understanding of technical topics
• Video editing proficiency is a plus

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2+ years of experience with track record of excellent written work
• Ownership mindset, taking responsibility for projects from ideation to execution
• Good intuition on balancing editing and letting the author's voice shine through
• Able to explain complex topics succinctly
• Fast mover with the ability to write great copy in minutes
• Strong understanding of technical topics and ability to write crisp engineering blog posts
• Proficient in video editing
