About the role

Responsibilities

• Teach grade-level curriculum aligned with state standards
• Develop and implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective lesson plans and units of study
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain the certification requirements as established by Connecticut State Statutes
• Bilingual Elementary Certification preferred
• Experience with dual language programs preferred

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field
• At least two years of teaching experience at the elementary level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students

Skills

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish

Pay

The salary is contingent on degree and years of experience, ranging from $53,220 to $108,047 for the 26-27 School Year.
