Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose mental health and behavioral problems, design and implement treatment plans, and maintain continuous documentation (including additional diagnoses, plan reviews, and clinical notes) according to organizational policy
- Offer quality service and collaborate with a dynamic team to support the mission of supporting the community
- Create creative interventions to assist clients in achieving and surpassing their goals
- Prepare and present individual clinical documentation for each session
- Participate actively in team meetings and clinical trainings
Qualifications
- Masters in behavior science or related field from an accredited university, and currently pursuing a license in the relevant area
- Preferred with a valid mental health license in the state of New Jersey
- Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and/or adults
- Experience working with couples, families, trauma, substance abuse, and/or in school settings
- General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with clinical documentation
