About the role

We are looking for a Spanish-speaking Customer Service Specialist to join our Residential Program Team in Oregon and Southwest Washington. In this role, you will support innovative energy conservation and renewable energy programs, delivering customer support services on behalf of an Oregon-based non-profit client. Candidates must reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington and be fluent in both English and Spanish. Reliable transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of energy conservation and renewable energy program details (e.g., Residential, Solar, Commercial, and Industrial programs) to educate customers and contractors on available services.
  • Provide assistance to English and Spanish-speaking customers and contractors via email, inbound, and outbound calls, addressing inquiries related to energy program participation.
  • Document customer conversations, provide product or service recommendations, and advise on program participation details.
  • Support follow-up communications and next steps for current program participants.
  • Use and help maintain client-approved scripts, website content, and program FAQs to provide accurate information.
  • Manage and control participant intake data, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and contractual obligations are met.
  • Address disputed rebate claim data and route appropriately if necessary.
  • Prepare and review required program participation documentation while coordinating with internal and external departments.
  • Participate and present at community events to raise awareness about energy-saving best practices, technologies, and available programs.
  • Maintain strong ongoing communications (English and Spanish) with customers and contractors to identify the best programs for their needs.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience while adhering to company and client expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous customer experience improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a large database of trade allies, ensuring all documentation and information remains current and accurate.
  • Coordinate regularly with internal and external cross-functional teams.
  • Remain detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with compassionate and patient phone and email etiquette.
  • If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Must reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington.
  • Reliable transportation is a plus.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship or support.
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Pay

Compensation range: $48,800.00 - $66,300.00 USD (salary). Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, and prior relevant experience.
