Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese/English) Physician Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Family Practice Nurse practitioner

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions across the lifespan
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Treat patients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and substance use disorders if interested
• Collaborate with therapists and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Deliver high-quality care through both in-person and telehealth visits

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut APRN or Physician Assistant license
• PMHNP certification
• FNPs and PAs with psychiatric experience
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
• MUST speak Spanish

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient psychiatry
• Bilingual Spanish-Portuguese-speaking providers strongly encouraged to apply
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults
• Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric treatment approaches
