Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeps the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicate with solid professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Connecticut
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

Qualifications

  • Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Preferred: Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Preferred: Prescription data entry experience

Pay and Schedule

  • The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.

Schedule

The is a Part Time role with 20 hours a week. The Pharmacy is open Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:000pm EST with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm EST. The manager will work with you on the schedule
