Responsibilities
- Work with hiring managers to develop recruiting plans based on future man loading.
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
- Work with all Temporary labor providers and coordinate use of their services across all operating departments.
- Conduct regular follow-up with Director of Recruiting to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
- Use social media and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees.
- Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
- Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
- Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
- Aid in coordinating and implementing college and high school recruiting initiatives.
- Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
- Work with field management to project future manpower trends and needs for all levels and skills across the company.
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements and conduct necessary phone screens before sending the hiring managers.
- Maintain all pertinent applicants and interview data in the Human Resources Information System.
- Aid in performing other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in recruiting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of human resources policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
