Bilingual Seasonal Licensed Health Insurance Agent-Remote
About the Role
Our Bilingual Seasonal Licensed Health Insurance Agents support customers with their health insurance plans during the Open Enrollment Period (OEP) season. Agents handle calls and chats in both English and Spanish, explaining the features and advantages of available medical plans, enrolling new members, and assisting current members with cost and plan analysis to identify the best products for their yearly review.
This is a remote, sales-focused position with paid training and no commission-based pay. Agents receive qualified live leads transferred directly—no lead lists required. A resident state Life & Health Insurance License is required, and ResultsCX will support you in obtaining any additional licenses needed for the role.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with health insurance plan selection and enrollment during OEP season.
- Handle inbound calls and chats in English and Spanish.
- Explain plan features, benefits, and costs to customers.
- Conduct cost and plan analysis to help customers choose the best coverage.
- Toggle between multiple systems while communicating with customers.
- Build relationships and close sales in a consultative, customer-focused manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Resident Life & Health Insurance License (with CE completed) in hand at time of hire.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Open availability between 7:00 AM–10:00 PM EST, 7 days a week during the season.
- Sales experience or strong interpersonal skills; ability to persuade and close deals.
- Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency for multitasking across systems.
Work Environment
- Remote position based in the U.S.
- PC or laptop running Windows 11 (no Mac, Chromebook, tablet, or smartphone).
- High-speed internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
- Direct Ethernet connection to modem (Wi-Fi not acceptable).
- Two dedicated computer monitors (minimum 13 inches).
- VoIP USB headset with microphone and webcam for training.
- Dedicated, quiet workspace free of background noise and distractions.
Pay
Base pay starts at $22.00 per hour from the first day of the selling season and returns to base rates after the season. Pay rates may vary based on program fit during selection.
