Seasonal Licensed Health Insurance Agent – Remote

About the role

Our Seasonal Licensed Health Insurance Agent – Remote supports customers with their health insurance plans. A resident state license is required, and ResultsCX will assist in purchasing any additional licenses needed for the position. Agents handle qualified live leads (no cold calling), explain plan features and advantages, enroll new members, and assist current members with cost and plan analysis during their yearly review.

This is a sales position with paid training and no commission-based pay.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with health insurance plan inquiries and enrollments.
• Explain features and advantages of available medical plans.
• Assist new and current members in selecting the best products for their needs.
• Conduct cost and plan analysis during yearly reviews.
• Handle live, qualified leads transferred directly to you.

Requirements

• Resident Insurance License in hand with continuing education (CE) completed.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in English.
• Intermediate/advanced technical skills to toggle between multiple systems while communicating with customers.
• Open availability between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST, 7 days a week during the season.

• Sales-oriented with strong closing abilities.
• Charismatic, persuasive, and skilled at building relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-system environment.

Technical Setup

• PC or laptop running Windows 11 (no Mac, Chromebook, tablet, or smartphone).
• High-speed internet with minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Direct connection to the internet service provider modem via Ethernet cable (Wi-Fi not acceptable).
• Two dedicated computer monitors (minimum 13 inches or larger).
• VoIP USB headset with microphone and a webcam for training.
• Dedicated, quiet workspace free of background noise and distractions.

Pay

Base pay starts at $21.00 per hour from the first day of the selling season. Pay rates may vary by program during selection consideration. After the selling season, pay returns to base rates.
