Bilingual Registered Behavioral Technician (Union County)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Visit clients at home or in the community to provide relief to caregivers and holistic support to youth.
  • Work 2-20 hours weekly in 2-4 hour shifts starting after 3 pm during the school year and as early as 8:30 am during the summer.
  • Implement and develop interventions from the Individual Support Plan.
  • Environmental arrangement, proactive strategies, acquisition of functional skills (including ADL’s).
  • Reduce problem behaviors and submit visit notes promptly following each session.
  • Comply with service authorization timelines and follow agency policies.
  • Participate in required trainings and crisis prevention, recognition, and intervention.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Able to work in the U.S.
  • Complete NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Working towards Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Have at least one year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
  • Pass all state and federal background checks.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply.
